I bought an OpenPandora Linux computer.

So far, so good. It's sitting on my desk.

It features some kind of ARM CPU, 512 MB RAM and 512 MB flash memory. It has a USB port and two SD card slots. Obviously it has WiFi.

It also runs with its lid closed. The X11 VNC server works OK, if a bit slow.

And X11-forwarding via SSH works too.

I still have to learn how this thing works. Unfortunately neither a C compiler nor the man command are installed. Also, the Web browser failed to run. It still does.

Next thing to do is install the OS on an SD card which offers more room than half a gig of flash.
