Vokabeln is a vocabulary trainer program for the iPhone. It's a successor to Vocky, a similar program I wrote years ago for my own use for the original iPhone. Vokabeln requires iOS 6, I think.
Vokabeln is a simple program. It uses a file supplied via iTunes containing vocabulary. It can ask in either direction and will keep track of correctly guessed words which will be removed from the question list after so many tries as defined as "needed guesses".
When all words have been guessed correctly the defined number of times and only two words remain, the "game" is over and the word list will show the two remaining words and their translations.
The language direction can be changed at any time during the quiz.
I have not released Vocky or Vokabeln in the iTunes store because this is really software I only use myself.
Vokabeln is written in C#.
I wrote a similar program for Mac OS X, Windows and Linux in XOJO (REALbasic) when I was in Haifa.
